Established four years ago by Christy Stapleton, the Green Door Market is located in A1 Bluebell Business Centre, Old Naas Rd.

“We have successfully operated our market for the past four years, and consistently score 4.5-5 in Google ratings,” said Christy.

“The focus is primarily organic and artisan foods with some ready to eat food. Our mission is to bring to the public top quality mainly-Irish food in an inviting space where customers can linger and enjoy a convivial market experience.”

Among the goods on sale at the indoor market include fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, quality bread and baked goods, cheese, dairy, charcuterie, smoked meats, and more.

“In addition, we sell a variety of hot food and delicious drinks for customers to enjoy in our seating area or to take away. On Saturday we also have live music plus arts and crafts stalls,” said Christy.

“Any bread left over on Saturday is sold off at half price on Sunday with all proceeds going to Barnardo’s children’s charity.”

The market is open Wednesday (12-3.30pm), Thursday and Friday (12-7pm), Saturday (9.30am to 4pm) and Sunday (11-3pm).
