Thieves steal 50 televisions and a safe in early morning raid on store
Thieves broke into a store in Lucan in the early hours of the morning and stole up to 50 televisions and a safe containing a small amount of cash.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the robbery which took place on Thursday morning at a store in the Lucan Retail Park.
In a statement from Gardai, a spokesperson said: “At approximately 1:50am a car with ladders on the roof and a black van entered the car park.
“A number of suspects then proceeded to take approximately 50 TV's and a safe containing a small amount of cash from the premises.
“Gardai are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the Lucan Retail Park area between the hours of 1:30am -3:30am to contact Lucan Garda Station on 666-7300, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
“During the course of this burglary a number of TVs were taken and we would again ask the public to contact Gardaí if they have any information or are offered a TV for sale.”
