Three padel courts get green light at Ballymount Cottages

PLANNING has been approved for the construction of three enclosed padel courts within two single-storey structures to the rear of existing cottage at 484 Ballymount Cottages, Turnpike Road.

Applicant Brightway Properties Ltd proposals include the demolition of existing ancillary outbuildings and removal of front boundary treatment to Turnpike Road.

Also included is change of use of the cottage from residential to commercial use providing a reception area, coffee shop, multi-purpose studio, changing rooms and associated facilities.

Proposals include the provision of 17 car-parking spaces, including one accessible space, 15 bicycle-parking spaces and refuse/storage facilities and the provision of a new 6.0m wide vehicular entrance via Turnpike Road.
