Through the Looking Glass: a series of city and landscape photographs

A TOP award-winning photographer, who is currently battling cancer, will be showcasing some of his finest photographs in the Church of the Incarnation in Fettercairn this week.

Edward Byrne suffered a stroke 18 months ago, and in recent weeks he suffered a mild heart attack as a result of his chemotherapy treatment, but he still finds solace in his passion for photography.

The exhibition will reflect his escape from the ongoing chemotherapy treatments which he is currently undergoing. 

The 28-piece exhibition, entitled ‘Through the Looking Glass’, will contain photos of night-time cityscapes and daytime landscapes,  primarily shot in Ireland.

The talented photographer, who is a four-time winner of the Irish Photographic Federation Gold Medal Award, has represented Ireland at international level in a number of major photography competitions.

‘Through the Looking Glass’ will be on display in the Church of the Incarnation in Fettercairn this Thursday, November 30 at 7.30pm, Saturday, December 2 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and Sunday, December 3 from 10.30am to 11.30am. Entry is free and all are welcome.
