Truck fire on N7 inbound sparks second incident on outbound carriageway

Dublin Fire Brigade have had to attend two incidents in the same location on the N7 this afternoon.

A truck went on fire earlier today on the N7 inbound and emergency services rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

As they were dealing with the fire, a motorist on the opposite carriageway, heading outbound, caused a second incident.

DFB continually warn drivers about focusing on the road in front of them, and this afternoon a spokesperson said: “We’ve dealt with two incidents at the same location on the N7: Truck fire inbound, followed by a RTC outbound. Driver distracted?”
