Two Tallaght women charged with assault of another

TWO WOMEN accused of a serious assault have appeared before Tallaght Court.

Rachel Blemings, aged 30, with an address at Carrigmore Oaks, and Danielle Seery, aged 38, with an address at Deerpark Downs, both Tallaght, are charged with assaulting a named female, causing her harm, at the Plaza Hotel, Tallaght, April 9, 2016.

The case was before Judge Patricia McNamara for mention.

The court heard that the DPP had directed summary disposal.

Judge McNamara asked if there was a medical report on the alleged injured parties injuries. Sergeant Eithne Madden said the report was not to hand.

Judge McNamara said she would have to see the report before considering jurisdiction.

She remanded Seery and Blemings on continuing bail to a date in February to see the medical report and to consider jurisdiction.
