Vicious attack on festival volunteers at Luas stop
TWO teens have been released pending a file to the DPP in connection with a “vicious” unprovoked attack on two St Patrick’s Day Festival volunteers on Tuesday – which saw the victims hospitalised with serious breaks and fractures to their faces and upper bodies.
According to Garda reports, the two teens arrested were part of a larger group of five people when they targeted the two men, both aged in their thirties, on the platform of The Square Luas stop at around 6.45pm on St Patrick’s Day.
