TECHNOLOGICAL University Dublin this week marked it’s first birthday with the launch of a short video, which promotes the 'infinite possibilities' available at its three campuses.

TU Dublin celebrates a year since it became Ireland's first Technological University.

IT Tallaght, which has an open evening this Thursday, January 16, made history last year when it merged with DIT Dublin and IT Blanchardstown to form the country's first technological university.

Set to the instrumental piano theme of ‘Clair de Lune’, which was performed by current student Lucas O’Callaghan, the 40-second video brings together visuals of all three campuses.

During production of the promotional video, the team tasked with making the video also discovered that they were all past graduates of what is now called TU Dublin.

Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham, who in the past qualified as an electrician from Kevin Street, features in the video.

The well-known actor has the last word, and says: “Ireland’s first Technological University – TU Dublin. Infinite possibilities”.

With over 100,000 graduates, TU Dublin is hosting open evenings this month in Tallaght on Thursday, January 16, from 4pm to 7pm and in Blanchardstown on the same day from 5pm to 7pm.
