Youth charged with violent disorder sent forward for trial
A TEENAGER charged with taking part in a riot in Rathfarnham with three others has been sent forward for trial to the Circuit Court.
James Wall was before Judge Flann Brennan in Tallaght Court for service of his book of evidence.
Wall, who has an address at Graiguealug, Nurney, County Carlow, is charged with committing violent disorder with three other named males at Nutgrove Crescent, Rathfarnham, on December 23, 2016.
He is also charged with damaging the windows of a house at Nutgrove Crescent on December 23 last.
A solicitor for the DPP told Judge Brennan that the book was ready to be served.
He said the DPP had consented for Wall to be sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.
Issuing Wall with the alibi caution, Judge Brennan sent him forward on bail to the present sitting of the Circuit Court.
