
BMA Clondalkin fighters gear up for big internationals
BUSHIDO MA Clondalkin saw a number of its members take part in the annual Kickboxing Ireland training camp held in Citywest Hotel over two days last weekend.
National champions from each discipline and age category trained under the watchful eyes of their respective national coaches in preparation for their upcoming championships.

Indeed the Cadet and Junior national team will depart in less than four weeks to the WAKO European Championship in Gyor, Hungary (August 24-30).
The senior panel will see members contest two World Championships for various disciplines with the K1 and Light Continuous team travelling to Bosnia in late October, while the Points Fighting and Full Contact National Senior squad will compete in Turkey at the end of November.
BMA Clondalkin had its own national champions present along with up and coming team members gearing up for 2020 competition.
Reigning national champions Francis Ryan and Aranas Orlovas took part along with clubmates Ross Gaynor, the Wade family trio of Amy, Ryan and Abbie, brothers Cayden and Roan Derwin, Sean Hawkins and Eidenas Orlovas, all supported by Tower Credit Union.
Clondalkin will be represented by Francis Ryan competing in full contact +81kg division, earning his second cap for Team Ireland, along with Zach Lamari in the Boys Point Fighting -42kg category. Aranas Orlovas will be making his debut for the Irish team in a new WAKO category- the Boys CH -37kg PF division.
