Enterprise Centre holds iPad and tablet courses for senior citizens
A NUMBER of iPad, mobile phone and tablet courses are available for senior citizens at Terenure Enterprise Centre this year – beginning in late January.
A six-week beginners guide to using iPads will begin on January 26 – showing participants how to get to grips with features and functions of your iPad.
The second six-week iPad beginners course starts on January 29.
Both courses are €50 and take place from 10am to 12pm.
A two-week Tablet Refresher Workshop starts on January 25, from 10am to 12pm for €15.
On January 23, a six-week Laptop Improvers course begins, for anyone who wants to improve their IT skills and use their laptop more confidently covering email, internet, files and folders etc.
The course is €50 and takes place between 10am to 12pm.
The centre are also hosting mobile phone course for both Android (starting January 29) and iPhone (starting February 8).
A number of hobby courses are also taking place. These include Women in History (six-week course starting January 26 costing €50), a Ukelele Group (six-week course starting January 26 costing €50), Needle Craft (six-week course starting January 24 costing €50) and Card Making (four-week course starting January 16 costing €40).
