‘Fr Damo’ to appear as guest speaker at Chamber lunch

SOUTH Dublin Chamber are hosting their annual Christmas lunch on December 8 in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel in Newlands Cross.

Members are invited to bring along colleagues and clients for one of the most enjoyable events in the Chamber’s calendar.

Guest speaker for this year’s lunch is actor Joe Rooney ‘aka Fr Damo’ from Fr Ted.

Joe is a successful actor and writer, having starred in numerous television shows, including Fr Ted and Killnaskully.

In more recent years Joe has had featured roles in TV3’s Red Rock, CBBC’s Roy and the feature films ‘Monged’ and ‘South.’

The Chamber Christmas lunch takes place on Friday, December 8, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel on the Naas Road.

There will be the customary mulled wine at reception, a segment of the event which is sponsored by the hotel itself.

Cost of tickets is €85 per person or €800 for a table of ten.
