
€50k fundraiser for Moyler
FANCY winning €2,500 from an outlay of just €15 and its for a good cause. Moyle Park Parents Council are trying to raise €50,000 for a new floor for their sports hall.
On Friday, March 19 next they will be hosting a €20k drop competition in The Green Isle Hotel. Tickets are €15 each and you can get four tickets for €50.
For €200 you get two free tickets, a Powerpoint presentation advertising your business and free listing on the Moyle Park directory for one year. The show is based on the tv show “The Million Pound Drop” which was hosted by Davina McCall.
A spokesperson for the Parents Council told The Echo: “This show has been a huge success for several schools and is also a most enjoyable night for parents and it gives us great pleasure to host it in Clondalkin for the first time.”
Councillor and former pupil of Moyle Park, Trevor Gilligan is calling on friends, supporters and past pupils of the college to donate and get involved.
He told The Echo: “If everyone donated even €10, we would be well on our way towards our €50K target. We are asking for your support to donate via our Go Fund Me page : https://www.gofundme.com/moyle-park-new-sports-hall-flooring/ .
€15 Per Ticket. €50 4 tickets. €200 Sponsorship Large Screen Ad on the night + 2 Free Tickets. However, general donations are also welcome.”
He added: “I congratulate the committee on the time and effort they have committed to this project.
“I am happy to help – Moyle Park is my former secondary school. To me, Moyle Park is at the heart of Clondalkin and if I can help raise a few more quid towards this cause, all the better.”
