
Gardai are investigating burglary at retail premises in Foxborough

CENTRA in Foxborough was forced to close for a number of hours last week after it was burgled.
During the early hours of Monday January 13, burglars gained entry through the front shutter and removed a number of items from the premises.

The shop did not open later that morning.
Centra Foxborough posted on social media: “Our front shutter has broken and as a result we will not open this morning, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.”
The shop reopened later that day.
A Garda Spokeswoman told The Echo that the burglary is currently being investigated.
No arrests has of yet been made in the investigation.
She said: “Gardai are investigating a burglary at a retail premises on Foxborough Rd, Lucan which occurred in the early hours of 13th January 2020.
A number of items were taken and damage was caused to the premises. No injuries. No arrests made. Investigations are ongoing”.
A Spokesman for Centra told The Echo that they had “no comment” to make on the incident.
