
Green light given for 350 apartments in Adamstown
PERMISSION has been granted for the development of 350 apartments across three blocks in the Adamstown area of Lucan.
Quintain Developments Ireland Limited have a proposal for the site in Finnstown that includes the development of apartment blocks, ranging in height from one to seven storeys.
The apartments will comprise six studios, 169 one-beds and 175 two-beds and there is provision of 250 car-parking spaces.
The development will also include internal residential amenity space, vehicular junctions and an internal road, and a cycle and pedestrian network.
Minor alterations to the south-east junction with Adamstown Way, adjacent to the planned Central Boulevard Amenity Area, form part of the plans.
Bin-storage areas, plants including standalone plant buildings at Blocks B and C, and hard and soft landscaped areas including public, communal and private open space areas are included.
Permission was also granted for boundary treatments, public lighting, three sub-stations, rooftop PV arrays, and all associated site and development works above and below ground.
South Dublin County Council granted permission for the development on November 28.
