‘Shocking’ – head of Our Lady statue vandalised for second time
THE HEAD of a statue of Our Lady, which provided solace for people during the pandemic, has been broken off in an act of wanton vandalism once again – a year after it was previously damaged.
Parishioners have worked to develop a little grotto around a statue of Our Lady outside St Mark’s Church in Springfield over the last year, but it has fallen foul to vandalism on a couple of occasions.
