Olympic hero Kellie Harrington returned home from Tokyo where she beat Brazil’s Beatriz Ferreira to win gold

Kellie Harrington, a long-time member of Tallaght’s St Mary’s Boxing Club, returns home from Tokyo after beating Brazil’s Beatriz Ferreira to win Olympic gold. And our other Olympic hero Jack Woolley, who represented Ireland in the Taekwondo bouts, was attacked in Dublin city centre by a gang of 8 to 12 men and women.
Jack suffered major injuries from his attack in the city. Castletymon Library announced its opening to the public from September 1 with a fantastic range of facilities, including 3D printing, available.
