DFB captured the extent of the fire using a drone, with the footage showing the damage caused.
The drone also helped firefighters track the fire, with DFB saying, “crews used a drone to keep track of the fire, to protect nearby houses”.
With vegetation being extremely dry, the possibility of gorse fires increases, and members of the public are reminded to take care when enjoying the good weather.
