Lisa Lennox appointed Director of HR at TUH
TALLAGHT University Hospital has appointed Lisa Lennox as its new Director of Human Resources following the departure of Sharon Larkin.
Lennox comes into the role vacated by Larkin at the local hospital with more than 25 years’ experience in Human Resources, including over 15 years in senior leadership positions within the healthcare sector.
Lisa Lennox has held a number of HR leadership positions, building extensive knowledge and experience across the hospital before moving to Children’s Health Ireland in 2019, and subsequently returning to TUH in 2023.
She initially rejoined the team as Head of the HR Medical Division before being appointed as Deputy Director of HR/Head of HR Operations in July 2025.
Speaking about her appointment, Lisa said: “I am delighted to be appointed Director of Human Resources at TUH. I look forward to working with colleagues across the Hospital to support our people and the delivery of high-quality patient care.”
TUH acknowledged and thanked Lisa’s predecessor, Sharon Larkin for her significant contribution to the Hospital during her tenure as Director of Human Resources.
The hospital noted her commitment, professionalism and dedication and wish her every success and happiness in her new role.
The new HR Director’s expertise spans strategic workforce planning, organisational transformation, industrial and employee relations, talent management, HR operations and leadership development.
TUH Interim CEO Dermot Carter stated that Lennox has already “made a significant contribution” since taking on a role once more at the hospital three years ago.
The Interim Chief Executive said: “Lisa has already made a significant contribution since returning to the hospital and has demonstrated a deep commitment to supporting our people and services.
“Lisa’s experience, leadership and understanding of the organisation will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our workforce and deliver the highest quality care to our patients.
“I look forward to working with Lisa as she takes up this important role.”
