The Irish Meteorological Service said: “[It will be] very cold tonight with calm and clear conditions. Frost and icy patches will develop. Lowest temperatures of -4 to 0 degrees.”
AA Roadwatch commented: “Very wet throughout the city. Surface water and spot flooding is an issue in places so take care.”
It recommended that drivers should “keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front as spray may also affect visibility”.
