At the reception in the clubhouse, Club Chairman Ed O'Malley paid tribute to Jim and Frank Roebuck, a key member of Jim's Dublin backroom team.

Ed said Jim and Frank have brought tremendous pride to the club and wider Clondalkin community, and have distinguished themselves in their management of the Dublin Footballers.

Thanks was also extended to Jim and Frank’s families for their tremendous support of both men as they fulfilled their duties for the county, with Jim having been involved in management of Dublin Footballers for the past 13 years.

He addressed those in attendance, speaking of the journey he undertook with the Dublin Footballers and thanking family and the club for their support of him.

A number of representatives from the local community and the club also extended thanks to Jim via a special video tribute.

It was an emotional occasion as club Members gathered to thank their most famous ambassador having guided the Dublin Footballers to the unprecedented five in a row before handing back the reins.
