A CONTENTIOUS planning application for a waste recycling facility to the rear of Lidl on the Greenhills Road has been declared withdrawn.
Among the concerns raised by residents included strong odours that could emanate from the site, its close proximity to housing estates, potential noise pollution, and the potential presence of rodents.
